Lord Ganesha, also known as Vinayakar or Pillaiar in Tamil, is the eldest son of Lord Siva and is the first deity worshipped by Hindus during any function, religious ritual, or festival, including prayers at the temple. His altar is situated to the right of Lord Siva. The deity enshrined in the temple is known as Katpaka Vinayakar.
