Mancham is a vehicle especially crafted, painted and decorated with items to remember deva loka. Sivaperuman and Ambal are decorated and seated in the Mancham. Lights are focussed and two lines of ropes are extended from the Mancham for male devotees and female devotees respectively to pull it round the external court. Mancham will stop at four corners and centers of all four directions for Katpura Aalathy by priest to Sivan & Ambal. All these are done for devotees get blessed by Sivaperuman and Ambal.
